Poor second half costs Lissan
Lissan 1-3 Foreglen 0-9
St. Michael's failure to score during the second half of their IFC encounter with Foreglen at Slaughtneil cost them dearly as the North Derry side ran out three point victors.
Due to injury problems Lissan were forced into a number of changes for the tie, and things got worse in the opening minute when full-forward Patrick Coey was forced off after landing awkwardly on his knee.
In wet conditions, this was a game bereft of quality, with Charlie McCann's first-half goal being the highlight of Lissan's performance. This helped St. Michael's lead by a single point at half-time, but a disappointing second-half allowed Foreglen to capture victory.
